Tengo varios libros favoritos, pero uno de ellos me es especialmente cercano. Ese es el motivo por el que me gustaría compartir un breve extracto del maravilloso "Mi ultimo suspiro" de Luis Buñuel.
Es algo para poner bajo nuestras almohadas, especialmente en este mundo en que vivimos, lleno de tristeza y desesperanza.

I've got many favorite books, but one of them is specially close to me. That's why I would like to share a brief excerpt from the wonderful "My Last Breath" by Luis Bunuel.
It's something to put under our pillows, specially in this world we live in, full of sadness and hopelessness.


"Por consiguiente, lo que conservo de aquellos años, más allá de todo
descubrimiento artístico, de todo afinamiento de mis gustos y pensamientos,
es una exigencia moral clara e irreductible a la que he tratado de
mantenerme fiel contra viento y marea. Y no es tan fácil guardar fidelidad a
una moral precisa. Constantemente, tropieza con el egoísmo, la vanidad, la
codicia, el exhibicionismo, la ramplonería y el olvido. Algunas veces, he
sucumbido a una de estas tentaciones y he quebrantado mis propias reglas por
cosas que yo considero de poca importancia. En la mayor parte de los casos,
mi paso por el surrealismo me ha ayudado a resistir. En el fondo, acaso sea
esto lo esencial"
