Tony Blair y la paz en Medio Oriente / Tony Blair and the peace in the Middle East

No, it's not a joke, one of the men with the worst behavior with the peoples of the Middle East was "chosen" by the so-called "quartet" to be the main mediator in the area.
Yes, the man behind the Iraq's Invasion, and many other horrors, in his country and abroad.
Like many times, the bright mind of Robert Fisk, it's putting everything in the right place, in an article from several days ago he was talking about this absurd possibility, now a fact.
I would like to have him at euskir's txoko, writing about international matters. About Tony Blair, I want that guy far enough to be safe, Mars would be ok, except for the Martians.

Sangre Palestina / Palestine blood

Bievenidos a Medio Oriente."

The mass media in the West World are just looking at the surface in the Palestine chain of events, and even then it's a fake surface, just to spread the better point of view to please their own businesses.
As usual, some of the most interesting ideas, came from Robert Fisk's column at The Independent, june 16, 2007.
I want to share a little excerpt from that article.

"How troublesome the Muslims of the Middle East are. First, we demand that the Palestinians embrace democracy and then they elect the wrong party - Hamas - and then Hamas wins a mini-civil war and presides over the Gaza Strip. And we Westerners still want to negotiate with the discredited President, Mahmoud Abbas. Today "Palestine" - and let's keep those quotation marks in place - has two prime ministers. Welcome to the Middle East."

"Who can we negotiate with? To whom do we talk? Well of course, we should have talked to Hamas months ago. But we didn't like the democratically elected government of the Palestinian people. They were supposed to have voted for Fatah and its corrupt leadership. But they voted for Hamas, which declines to recognise Israel or abide by the totally discredited Oslo agreement."

"How do we deal with a coup d'état by an elected government?"

It's not easy these days to find intelligent statements about this situation, specially with the shameless behavior from the United States and Europe, supporting now an illegal government
in Palestine.
Time will tell us the truth about all this, meanwhile, Palestine blood it's falling without end, and nobody seems care.
