De acuerdo a Adolfo Pérez Esquivel, no existe relación entre las dos, demostrando que el único error fue la elección del día.
Nada menos puede ser esperado de un hombre como Adolfo Pérez Esquivel, miembro de las realmente progresistas fuerzas de Argentina.

No me gusta Juan Carlos Blumberg, tengo muchas razones para pensar de esa manera, y no es sólo por el fuerte apoyo de la derecha, e inclusive la extrema derecha, a sus puntos de vista, Juan Carlos Blumberg está trayendo oscuridad sobre una ya caliente realidad, con todas sus carpetas repletas de nombres de compañias extranjeras de seguridad, y una visión de un país dividido por barras de acero.
Pero, no puedo comprender porque Adolfo Pérez Esquivel es parte de una protesta contra la marcha de hoy de Juan Carlos Blumberg. Adolfo Pérez Esquivel estaba en lo correcto diciendo las cosas que dijo, porque la pelea es allí, en el campo de las ideas, y por supuesto podría ser en las calles, pero marchando otro día, no dando al enemigo algún tonto material para utilizar contra aquellos, como yo, que creemos en la libertad de expresión, aún para aquellos que fueron parte fundamental de un siniestro plan para destruir la Nación.
Eduardo Pavlovsky también estaba en lo correcto, sus palabras fueron filosas como cuchillos, haciendo pedazos las mentiras de Juan Carlos Blumberg, mostrando los misterios detrás de la cortina de buenos modales.
Hoy es la marcha, mañana, los medios masivos regresarán a la habitual calma después de la tormenta.
Luis D' Elía estará aún aquí, también Néstor Kirchner, necesitamos ser suficientemente sabios para ver entrelíneas, detrás de la máscara de falsas ideas progresistas. Las fuerzas realmente progresistas deben trabajar contra gente como Juan Carlos Blumberg y Luis D' Elía, después de todo ellos no están tan lejos del gobierno. De hecho, no podemos olvidar, Juan Carlos Blumberg obtuvo la mayor parte de su poder gracias a aquellos que conducen el país, el no es una invención de si mismo.


I don't like Juan Carlos Blumberg, I've got many reasons to think that way, and it's not only for the strong support of the right wing, and even the extreme right wing, to his points of view. Juan Carlos Blumberg it's bringing darkness over an already hot reality, with all his folders, full of names from foreign security companies, and a vision of a country divided by iron bars.
But, I can't understand why Adolfo Pérez Esquivel is part of a protest against the Juan Carlos Blumberg today's march. Adolfo Pérez Esquivel was right saying the things he said, because the fight it's there, in the field of the ideas, and of course could be in the streets, but marching other day, not giving the enemy some silly material to use against the ones, like me, who believe in freedom of expression, even for them who were a main part of a sinister plan to destroy the Nation.
Eduardo Pavlovsky was right too, his words were sharp as knives, shattering the lies of Juan Carlos Blumberg, showing the misteries behind the curtain of good manners.
Today it's the march, tomorrow, the mass media will return to the usual calm after the storm.
Luis D' Elía will be still here, Néstor Kirchner too, we need to be wise enough to see between the lines, behind the mask of fake progressive ideas. The real progressive forces most work against people like Juan Carlos Blumberg and Luis D' Elía, after all they're not too far from the government. By the way, we can't forget, Juan Carlos Blumberg get most of his power thanks to the ones running the country, he's not an invention from himself.

Pablo Grinjot y la Ludwig Van, a toda orquesta / Pablo Grinjot y la Ludwig Van, at full orchestra

Hace un par de días alguien me preguntaba sobre Eusebio, colocando un comentario en un viejo
artículo. Astrid Lund Petersen, miembro de la banda, fue suficientemente amable para hacerme saber no sólo sobre sus propios proyectos, también sobre que están haciendo algunos de los otros músicos de Eusebio en estos días.
Y eso es sobre lo que quiero hablar, porque Pablo Grinjot y la Ludwig Van estarán presentando "Canciones para Criolla y Ensamble", su siguiente lanzamiento discográfico. Actúan el martes 29 de agosto en el ciclo Faro Deslumbra, en el Auditorio Tita Merello de Radio Nacional, 9:00 PM, junto a Tomi Lebrero y su Puchero Misterioso.
Honrando semejante auditorio histórico, la Ludwig Van ampliará sus miembros para sonar a "toda orquesta". Aún utilizando micrófonos, por requisitos del show radial, el sonido de la orquesta será 100% acústico e inalámbrico.
Suena realmente como una buena propuesta, y no sólo para fans de Eusebio, para todos nosotros.


A couple of days ago someone asked me about Eusebio, posting a comment in and old article. Astrid Lund Petersen, member of the band, was kind enough to let me know not only something about her own projects, also about what some of the other musicians from Eusebio are doing these days.
And that's the thing I want to talk about, because Pablo Grinjot y la Ludwig Van will be presenting "Canciones para Criolla y Ensamble", their next record release. On tuesday 29, august at the Faro Deslumbra, at the Auditorio Tita Merello de Radio Nacional, 9:00 PM, along with Tomi Lebrero y su Puchero Misterioso.
Honouring such historic auditorium the Ludwig Van will extend their members to sound at "full orchestra". Even using microphones, for the radio show requirements, the sound of the orchestra will be 100% acoustic and unwired.
Sounds really as a good proposal, and not only to Eusebio fans, for all of us.

Hay un largo camino desde el 18 de noviembre de 2005, una cálida noche de viernes en el Jazz Club, la primera ocasión en la que fuimos capaces de disfrutar de la Mariano Otero Orquesta.
Y mañana tenemos la oportunidad de escuchar a la orquesta presentando "Tres", el primer disco de esta gran banda, con buenos músicos detrás de cada instrumento.
La cita es en La Trastienda, Balcarce 460, lunes 28 de agosto, 21.00 hs.


There's a long road since november 18, 2005, a warm friday night at the Jazz Club, the first time we were able to enjoy the Mariano Otero Orquesta.
And tomorrow we have the chance to listen the orquesta presenting "Tres", the first record from this great band, with good musicians behind each instrument.

Y los músicos...
Esta mañana llegó con malas noticias sobre Thelonious Club, el sitio para música construido no sólo con ladrillos, también con toneladas de cuidado y amor por Lucas y Ezequiel Cutaia.
Espero que Thelonious Club y el gobierno de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires puedan alcanzar un acuerdo, para permitir al lugar continuar con los shows musicales, actualmente suspendidos por alguna oscura legislación.
En este momento Thelonious Club está sólo funcionando como bar, deseo, como todos los amantes de la música, que ellos puedan regresar pronto a sus actividades habituales.


And the musicians...
This morning came with bad news about Thelonious Club, the place for music builded not only with bricks, also with tons of care and love by Lucas and Ezequiel Cutaia.
I hope that Thelonious Club and the government of the Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires can reach a deal, to allow the place to continue with the music shows, now suspended for some obscure legislation.
Right now Thelonious Club it's only working as a bar, I wish, like all music lovers, they can return to their usual activities soon.

Maynard Ferguson: en otras palabras / Maynard Ferguson: in other words

Necesito ser honesto, el no es uno de mis trompetistas favoritos, pero, por supuesto, no puedo negar que Maynard Ferguson es alguien difícil de evitar si hablamos de técnicas para tocar la trompeta, y el amor por la música fue siempre una carta de presentación para este hombre, que murió hace un par de días.
El artículo de Steve Voce en The Independent es culpable por este post, el tocó todas las notas correctas allí.

I need to be honest, he's not one of my favorite trumpet players, but, of course, I can deny that Maynard Ferguson is someone hard to avoid if we talk about trumpet playing techniques, and the love for the music was always a presentation card for this man, who died a couple of days ago.
Steve Voce's article at The Independent is guilty for this post, he hit all the right notes there.
